Genie Vault Open Beta

Genie Vault Open Beta Free Prize Draw Rules

Last updated: 13 July 2026 · Effective from: 13 July 2026

These Rules explain how the Genie Vault Open Beta Free Prize Draw works.

They apply in addition to the Genie Vault Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Open Beta participation terms. If there is any inconsistency between these Rules and more general product terms, these Rules apply to the Free Prize Draw.

These updated Rules apply to Free Prize Draw activities completed on or after 00:00 on 13 July 2026, UK time. They do not change any draw snapshot that was locked before these updated Rules took effect.

1. Promoter

The promoter of the Free Prize Draw is Identifyi Limited, trading as Genie Vault, of 25 Cabot Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 4QZ, United Kingdom.

Company number: 16017432.

2. What the Free Prize Draw is

The Genie Vault Open Beta Free Prize Draw is a free-to-enter prize draw for eligible Genie Vault Open Beta participants.

It is designed to reward useful Open Beta participation, such as creating a Vault, completing onboarding, using Genie, submitting receipts or order confirmations for beta testing, completing surveys or microquests, giving useful feedback, reporting quality bugs, joining the beta community where optional, and referring eligible activated users.

Genie Vault is not a receipt-rewards app. The Free Prize Draw is not a programme that pays users for shopping, spending money or uploading receipts as a standalone commercial activity.

Entries reward meaningful beta participation. Receipt submission entries are included only because receipt and order confirmation testing is a core part of the Genie Vault Open Beta experience.

3. Genie Vault Hub

The Free Prize Draw is managed through the Genie Vault Hub:

https://hub.genievault.com

The Genie Vault Hub is the official place where eligible participants can view relevant Open Beta and Free Prize Draw information, including their own published entries, community entry information, available beta activities, updates, their own wins, published winners and prize fulfilment status.

The current Free Prize Draw Rules are available at:

https://hub.genievault.com/prize-draw-rules

Discord may also be used for live support, community discussion, optional beta activities, feedback discussion, announcements and additional community engagement. Discord is optional unless a specific activity is clearly marked as Discord-only.

4. Eligibility

The Free Prize Draw is open to United Kingdom residents aged 18 or over who:

  • have been approved by the Genie Vault team to take part in the Open Beta;
  • use the email address approved for their Open Beta participation;
  • create a Genie Vault account;
  • meet the Active Participation Minimum described in section 5;
  • have access to the Genie Vault Hub or are otherwise recorded as an eligible Open Beta participant by the Genie Vault team;
  • complete any Free Prize Draw confirmation or opt-in process made available through the Genie Vault Hub, the app or another official Genie Vault route;
  • provide the details reasonably required to match their Genie Vault account with their approved Open Beta participant record; and
  • comply with these Rules, the Genie Vault Terms of Use and the Open Beta participation terms.

Only one Genie Vault Open Beta account may be used per person. Duplicate accounts, self-referrals, fake accounts or attempts to manipulate the entry system may result in entries being rejected or voided and the participant being removed from one or more draws.

Employees, officers, contractors and agents of Identifyi Limited, anyone directly involved in administering the Free Prize Draw, and their immediate family members or household members are not eligible to enter.

The Promoter may reject or remove an entry or participant where it reasonably believes that the participant is not eligible, cannot be verified, has breached these Rules, or has acted unfairly.

5. Active Participation Minimum

To be included in a Free Prize Draw, a participant must meet the Active Participation Minimum before the relevant draw is locked.

The Active Participation Minimum is designed to make sure that Free Prize Draw participation reflects genuine Open Beta testing activity, not passive sign-up only.

A participant meets the Active Participation Minimum when they have:

  • created a Genie Vault account;
  • completed the initial onboarding flow made available in the app; and
  • accessed or used Genie Vault on at least two additional calendar days after the day on which their Vault was created.

This means that a participant must have activity recorded on at least three separate calendar days in total: the Vault creation / onboarding day, plus at least two further active days.

For this purpose, an active day may include recorded activity such as signing in to and using Genie Vault, interacting with Genie, or adding a receipt or order confirmation through a supported submission route.

Simply viewing the Genie Vault Hub or Prize Draw information does not by itself count as an active day.

Creating a Vault on its own is not enough to be included in a draw.

Entries may be recorded before the Active Participation Minimum has been met, but the participant will not be included in a draw snapshot unless the Active Participation Minimum has been met before that draw is locked.

If a participant meets the Active Participation Minimum after a weekly draw has already been locked, this will not retrospectively add them to that weekly draw. They may become eligible for future draws, and for the relevant monthly draw if they meet the applicable requirements before the monthly draw is locked.

The Promoter’s system records will be used to determine whether the Active Participation Minimum has been met.

6. No purchase necessary

No purchase is necessary to enter the Free Prize Draw.

There is no paid route to enter the Free Prize Draw. Open Beta participation is free. Participants are responsible for their own standard internet, mobile network, device or communication costs.

You do not need to make a purchase from Genie Vault, any retailer or any third party in order to enter.

Some beta testing activities involve submitting receipts, order confirmations or purchase records from purchases you have already made in the normal course of everyday shopping. You should not make any purchase for the purpose of entering the Free Prize Draw, earning entries, increasing your entries or improving your chances of winning.

Receipt submission entries are awarded for helping test Genie Vault’s receipt reading, purchase recognition, Vault-building and Genie functionality. They are not a reward for spending money.

The value of a purchase, the retailer used, the brand bought, the number of items in a basket and the amount spent do not increase the number of receipt submission entries awarded for that receipt.

7. How entries are earned

Entries can be earned through published Open Beta activities. These may include:

  • creating a Vault;
  • completing onboarding;
  • meeting the Active Participation Minimum;
  • completing the Free Prize Draw confirmation process;
  • submitting valid receipts, order confirmations or purchase records for beta testing, subject to weekly caps;
  • interacting with Genie, subject to caps;
  • completing surveys;
  • completing microquests or random beta quests;
  • providing useful feedback;
  • submitting quality bug reports;
  • providing useful screenshots or screen recordings where requested;
  • joining Discord or taking part in Discord activities, where optional or where a specific activity is marked as Discord-only;
  • referring activated users who meet the published referral requirements.

The number of entries available for each activity, and any caps, limits or conditions, will be shown in the Genie Vault Hub, in the app, in the relevant activity instructions, in Discord where applicable, or in another official Genie Vault communication before or at the time the activity is made available.

Some activities may have fixed entry values. Other activities, especially feedback, bug reports, screenshots, screen recordings, surveys, microquests and special beta tasks, may be reviewed for validity, usefulness, clarity, duplication and compliance with the relevant activity instructions.

A referral will only count where the referred user meets the published referral requirements. Raw clicks, incomplete sign-ups, duplicate sign-ups, self-referrals or non-genuine referrals do not count.

8. Receipt submission entries

From 13 July 2026, valid receipt submission may be included as an entry-earning Open Beta activity.

Receipt submission entries are awarded because Genie Vault needs real-world receipt and order confirmation examples to test and improve:

  • receipt scanning;
  • receipt photo upload;
  • forwarded digital receipts;
  • order confirmation processing;
  • product recognition;
  • retailer recognition;
  • date and amount recognition;
  • duplicate detection;
  • purchase categorisation;
  • Genie’s ability to answer questions using Vault data.

Unless stated otherwise in the Genie Vault Hub or relevant activity instructions, each valid receipt, order confirmation or purchase record accepted for the receipt submission activity may earn one entry.

Receipt submission entries are capped at a maximum of 50 entries per participant per weekly draw period.

The receipt submission cap applies to receipt submission entries only. Other activity types may have their own separate caps, limits or rules.

Unused weekly receipt submission capacity does not roll over into a later week.

Receipt submission entries may count towards the relevant weekly draw and, where applicable, the relevant monthly draw, provided they are valid, published and fall within the relevant draw period.

A receipt submission may be rejected or not counted if it is duplicate, unclear, incomplete, not itemised where item-level testing is required, not owned by the participant or their household, altered, fabricated, misleading, outside the relevant activity rules, technically unreadable, or otherwise unsuitable for the Open Beta testing purpose.

The Promoter may also reject or void receipt submission entries where it reasonably believes that a participant has made purchases, collected receipts, submitted receipts from other people, created artificial activity, submitted excessive low-quality material, or otherwise behaved unfairly in order to earn entries.

Receipt submission entries do not depend on how much money was spent. A low-value receipt and a high-value receipt are treated the same for this purpose if they meet the relevant activity requirements.

Participants should submit receipts and order confirmations from ordinary purchases they or their household have already made. Participants should not buy anything in order to earn receipt submission entries.

9. Valid published entries

Entries are reviewed and validated before they are published.

Only valid published entries shown in the official entry ledger count towards a draw.

Entries that are not validated, are rejected, are voided, remain in draft, or are not published do not count towards any draw.

Published means that the entry has been accepted into the official entry ledger for the relevant draw period.

The entry ledger shown in the Genie Vault Hub is intended to reflect valid published entries. If the Genie Vault team identifies an error, the Promoter may correct the Hub, dashboard, ledger or entry record.

If an entry was imported, scored or published in error, the Promoter may void the incorrect entry with a reason and, where appropriate, create a corrected entry.

10. Weekly and monthly draw periods

There are two recurring draw types during the Open Beta:

  • Weekly Free Prize Draws, based on the relevant weekly draw period;
  • Monthly Active Participant Draws, based on the relevant calendar month.

Unless stated otherwise in the Genie Vault Hub:

  • a weekly draw period runs from 00:00 on Monday to 23:59 on Sunday, UK time;
  • a monthly draw period runs from 00:00 on the first day of the calendar month to 23:59 on the final day of that calendar month, UK time.

The first or final draw period of the Open Beta may be shorter if the Open Beta starts or ends part way through a week or month. Where this applies, the relevant period will be shown in the Genie Vault Hub or another official channel.

Each draw is locked to a snapshot before winners are selected. Entries published after a draw is locked do not retroactively change that draw snapshot.

11. Prize structure

The current default weekly prize structure is:

  • 35 × £10
  • 8 × £25
  • 4 × £50
  • 2 × £75
  • 1 × £100

Total: 50 winners, £1,000 per week.

The current default monthly prize structure is:

  • 7 × £100
  • 1 × £250

Total: 8 winners, £950 per month.

Prizes are cash rewards in pounds sterling unless a specific draw states otherwise.

The prize structure for each draw will be shown in the Genie Vault Hub or another official channel before or during the relevant draw period. Once entries have opened for a draw, the Promoter will not reduce the advertised number or value of prizes for that draw unless required by legal, technical, security or unavoidable operational reasons, and only where participants are not unfairly disadvantaged.

If a prize cannot be provided as advertised, the Promoter may provide a reasonable equivalent.

If there are fewer eligible winners than available prizes in a draw, the Promoter may award fewer prizes for that draw.

12. Winner selection

Winners are selected at random from the locked draw snapshot, weighted by the number of valid published entries each eligible participant holds in that draw.

A participant will be included in the locked draw snapshot only if they meet the applicable eligibility requirements, including the Active Participation Minimum, before the draw is locked.

Winner selection will be performed through the Genie Vault Hub or the Genie Vault Prize Draw system using a verifiably random computer process or another fair random process supervised appropriately. The Promoter will keep evidence of the locked snapshot and winner selection process.

By default, a participant can win at most one prize within the same draw instance. Weekly and monthly draws are separate draw instances. A participant who wins a weekly prize may still be eligible for a monthly prize unless the Genie Vault Hub or relevant draw terms state otherwise.

Prizes will normally be allocated from the highest value tier to the lowest value tier, unless the Genie Vault Hub states a different process for a specific draw.

13. Winner notification

Winners may be notified through the Genie Vault Hub and may also be contacted by the Genie Vault team using the contact details linked to their Open Beta participant record, such as email and/or Discord where available.

The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact each selected winner.

Winners may be asked to confirm their identity, eligibility and/or payment details before a prize is sent.

Unless stated otherwise for a specific draw, if the Promoter asks a selected winner to respond, confirm details or provide payment information, the winner must do so within 7 calendar days of the first winner notification or request.

If a selected winner cannot be contacted, does not respond in time when a response is required, fails eligibility checks, cannot complete the fulfilment process, provides unusable payment details, or is found to have breached these Rules, the Promoter may mark the winner as failed or voided.

Where a selected winner is marked as failed or voided, the Promoter may, at its discretion:

  • select a replacement winner from the same locked draw snapshot;
  • run a supplementary draw from the eligible participant pool for the relevant draw;
  • add the value of the unclaimed prize to a later Weekly Free Prize Draw;
  • add the value of the unclaimed prize to a later Monthly Active Participant Draw; or
  • apply another fair and reasonable solution that preserves the promotional purpose of the Free Prize Draw.

The Promoter will not be required to run an immediate replacement selection for every unclaimed prize, provided that the unclaimed prize value is dealt with fairly and consistently under these Rules.

Where the value of an unclaimed prize is rolled into a later draw, the Promoter may announce this through the Genie Vault Hub, the app, Discord or another official channel.

14. Payment details and cash reward fulfilment

Cash rewards will normally be paid by bank transfer or another payment method confirmed by the Genie Vault team.

Winners may be asked to provide payment details through their Genie Vault Hub profile, including the details reasonably needed to send the cash reward. The Promoter may also agree another official support route where a winner does not want to provide payment details through the Genie Vault Hub.

Participants should not post payment details in public Discord channels, public forms or any unofficial route.

By providing payment details through the Genie Vault Hub or another official route agreed with the Genie Vault team, the participant authorises the Promoter to use those details to fulfil any cash reward they win.

If valid payment details have already been provided and the winner passes eligibility and verification checks, the Promoter may use those details to fulfil the prize without requiring a further payment confirmation from the winner. The Promoter may still contact the winner or ask for confirmation where it reasonably considers this necessary.

The Genie Vault Hub may show fulfilment status, but the actual bank transfer or payment may be processed outside the Hub.

Prizes will normally be fulfilled within 4 working days of winner confirmation, or within 4 working days of the Promoter confirming that valid payment details are available, unless there is a reasonable operational, verification, banking or payment-related delay.

If a prize cannot be fulfilled because the winner does not respond, does not provide usable payment details, fails verification or otherwise cannot complete the fulfilment process, the prize may be treated as unclaimed and handled in accordance with section 13.

The participant is responsible for keeping payment details accurate and up to date. The Promoter is not responsible for delays or failed payments caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated payment details provided by the participant, except where the Promoter is legally responsible.

No fee will be charged to claim a prize.

15. Winner publication and valid award information

The Genie Vault Hub may show prize draw information such as published entries, entry totals, draw status, winner status and prize fulfilment status.

Winners shown in the Genie Vault Hub or Discord will normally be identified only by their Discord handle, Discord display name, Hub Participant ID or another beta participant display name used for the Free Prize Draw.

The Promoter will not publish winners’ email addresses, legal names, Genie Vault IDs, payment details, bank details or private contact details on the public or participant-facing dashboard.

Participants should avoid using an email address, full legal name, phone number or other private personal information as their Discord handle, Discord display name, Hub display name or Prize Draw display name if they do not want that information to be visible to other participants.

The Promoter may need to make available information showing that a valid award took place. Where this is required, the Promoter will use the minimum information reasonably necessary and will not publish private contact or payment details.

The Promoter may also be required to provide information about the winner selection process, winner records or winning entries to the Advertising Standards Authority or another competent authority if challenged.

16. Personal data

Personal data will be used to administer the Open Beta and the Free Prize Draw. This may include your name or preferred name, email address, approved participant record, Genie Vault ID, Hub Participant ID, Discord ID or community identifier where available, device type, entry records, referral records, activity records, active day records, onboarding records, receipt submission records, winner status and prize fulfilment details.

Prize fulfilment may require additional information, such as payment details. These details will be used only for verification, administration, fulfilment, audit, fraud prevention and related legal or operational purposes.

Receipt and order confirmation data submitted through Genie Vault will be handled in accordance with the Genie Vault Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Receipt submission records may also be used to validate receipt submission entries and prevent fraud, duplication or abuse.

For more information about how Genie Vault collects, uses and protects personal data, please see the Genie Vault Privacy Policy:

https://genievault.com/privacy-policy

17. Fair use and participant conduct

Participants must take part honestly and fairly.

You must not:

  • create or use multiple accounts;
  • submit entries through bots, scripts, automation or other artificial means;
  • submit receipts, order confirmations, screenshots or data that do not belong to you or your household;
  • submit duplicate, misleading, altered, fabricated or manipulated materials;
  • make purchases for the purpose of increasing prize draw entries;
  • collect receipts from other people for the purpose of earning entries;
  • submit receipts from bins, public places, shops, workplaces, other households or any source that does not represent your own or your household’s ordinary shopping;
  • submit excessive low-quality, incomplete, non-itemised, unrelated or technically unsuitable materials to generate artificial activity;
  • create artificial sign-in, app-open, Hub-access or activity patterns to meet the Active Participation Minimum without genuine beta participation;
  • abuse referral mechanics;
  • harass other participants, moderators or the Genie Vault team;
  • attempt to interfere with the Genie Vault Hub, draw engine, entry ledger, Discord verification process, payment detail process, receipt processing systems or app.

The Promoter may reject or void entries, suspend participation, remove a participant from one or more draws, or block a participant from future Free Prize Draw participation where it reasonably believes these Rules have been breached.

18. Changes, suspension or cancellation

The Promoter may suspend, cancel or modify a draw where required for legal, technical, security or unavoidable operational reasons.

The Promoter will not change closing dates or material draw conditions in a way that unfairly disadvantages participants who have already sought to participate under the original terms, unless unavoidable circumstances make the change necessary.

Where reasonable, any material changes will be communicated through the Genie Vault Hub, the app, the official Genie Vault Beta Discord community or another official channel.

19. Platform disclaimer

The Free Prize Draw is run by Identifyi Limited / Genie Vault.

It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Discord, Apple, Google, any app store, any social media platform, any retailer, any bank, any payment provider or any creator, unless expressly stated otherwise.

20. Liability

The Promoter is not responsible for entries, receipt submissions, messages, notifications, claims, winner confirmations or prize fulfilment details that are lost, delayed, corrupted, incomplete, misdirected or not received because of technical issues, internet failures, platform issues, device issues, user error, incorrect contact details, incorrect payment details or other circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control.

The Promoter is not responsible for a receipt, order confirmation or purchase record failing to generate an entry where it is duplicate, invalid, unclear, incomplete, not owned by the participant or their household, submitted outside the applicable period, not processed successfully, rejected for fraud-prevention or data-quality reasons, or otherwise does not meet the published activity requirements.

The Promoter is not responsible for a participant failing to meet the Active Participation Minimum where the participant does not complete the required activity, uses an unsupported route, uses incorrect account details, or where the activity is not recorded by Genie Vault systems.

Nothing in these Rules limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

21. Tax

The Promoter does not provide tax advice. Winners are responsible for any tax or reporting obligations that may apply to them in connection with a prize.

22. Governing law

These Rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Participants may also have mandatory consumer rights in the part of the United Kingdom where they live.
